Onesome:Desperate times-- Hmmm... The ever present time crunch. Do you have a story of a time when you needed to be somewhere and it just didn't look like it was going to work out? Did you make it? No??? What happened?
Well... it was 22 yrs ago. I was a day past due with Cheryl...my water broke, and Kevin was 30 minutes away at work. I called Kyle's GodParents to take care of him, and then called Kevin at work. He had just arrives, not even taken off his jacket yet. I tole him, and his reply "your water broke?"( I heard a plethera of women laughing in the background)... he made it home in 20 minutes, and the ride to the hospital, an hour and a half away, took only 40 mminutes! Gee, early morning and a woman in labor can really decrease travel time ^_^
Twosome: lead to-- What leads you to write at your place? What strikes your fancy and leads you to your keyboard to share it with the blogosphere?
I write for me. I try to write every day, sometimes it doesn't happen. I have other blogs for my spiritual writings and other things.
Threesome: disparate measures-- Hey, what is it you do that's really different from your friends or family or acquaintances that drives them to distraction? Is it something as simple as the way you put the toilet paper roll on? ...or maybe your habit of eating all your vegetables first? Come on, you know there's a little something it's safe to share with the gang!
I crochet, a lot... some projects take upwards of 12 hrs at a time... that drives everyone crazy here ^_^ I get nothing done, and sometimes, when home alone, I forget to eat if I'm doing a duck or clown.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Funny News for Today ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Kyle and I went out yesterday, to Whole Foods, to get something for Cheryl. We rode around after that and had fun commenting on the driving of others... everyone is in too much of a hurry! Leave home earlier if you gotta be somewhere... life is too short to be always too hurriedd to enjoy the scenery!

Weekend Wonderings:
1. What do you do when you're riding in a car with someone and they're playing music that you can't stand?
That's something that couldn't happen. I like all music... there are some that I can't take for too long... and if the volume is up too loud, I ask for it to be turned down.
2. What do you do when someone is riding in the car with you and tells you they can't stand your music?
I don't drive, so, again, it wouldn't happen. In our cars, the driver chooses the music, period.
3. How important is music to you?
Very... I was in the band in high school... I married a man who was a dj in college... I have 2 VERY talented children, both grown, who sing all the time ^_^
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Has there ever been a day, in your life, that didn't get started well, but soared by the end of the day? That's what happened yesterday to me... started out tired and shaky, but ended up getting more done than I would have expected on a really good day!
Today is a "PUSH" day... have to push to get the remaining little annoyances out of the way. Tomorrow is Cheryl's birthday. She is smart, even back then she was... she was due on Friday the 13th... waited for Saturday ^_^. We are hoping to have a few of her friends over to celebrate with her... so I gotta get the chairs out.

Birthdayalarm.com works well for me... and then I usually send e-cards. For family we don't send cards, we give 'em a ring on the phone... so much more personal, don't you think?
