24 yrs ago today, my precious Kelly died. She was only 5 and a half months old. I have missed her more than words can ever say. She was a wonderful baby... We all miss her, even now.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ We had fun, Kevin and I, yesterday. We went out for breakfast... then to Lowe's to look at the veggie plants... then Border's, where I finished off 5 sets of earrings. I am glad I'm going to the doctor next week... knee is still tricky. We watched the NASCAR Race... and with 2 laps to go I called my Dad. He likes to watch, his favorite driver won ^_^ It was nice to watch the end of the race "together". He's such a wonderful Dad.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Yesterday's fun was really scary at one point... the lady in front of us missed the strees she was turning onto and threw her car in reverse! YIKES!!! how dumb was that? We avoided her, but I think the guy in the van, sitting at the stop sign waiting to turn onto the street we were on thought for sure he was going to be in an accident! Poor drivers should have to take the road test again.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Yesterday was good for the most part, but something happened around 3:30 that prevented me from getting out to Curves... I'm feeling a lot better today! ^_^
We also had a bit of excitement here... while taking her daily walk, Cheryl noticed an awfully foul smell, by the apartments. She knew that an elderly man lives there alone, so she came home and called 911. It turned out to be a dead rabbit, but the officers thanked her for cairnig enough to do something when others might not have. ^_^

A geek-- Hey, who handles tech support at your place? You? ...the six year old? ...or someone from outside? ...and how about in your web space? No, we're not looking for techs; we're just curious .
Kevin does most of the "Tech" stuff. Cheryl's friend Matt takes care of her computer. I do the web sites... such as they are.
in the-- computer? Just a curiosity for the designer types: what Operating System are you running? ...and which browser? Since sites can show up differently in different browsers it's more than a casual question.
We have 2 harddrives, one's OS is win-dohs, the other is fedora core...We like fedora better, and I use netscape exclusively.
Family-- Do any family members read your place? Do they care? Do they have a clue? ...and how about your 'off line' friends? ...or do you supply a little bit of separation there?
I am pretty sure that my maternal unit and her baby girl read my blog, and my Sister-in-law does... I will not hide my thoughts and words from them, like the cowardly , gossip does... I have nothing to hide, since I'm truthful in what I put up here. As for my friends, they all wish they could have blogs, but many don't do a lot of computer stuff.

We went to the library... yup, she's still obsessed with trashing me... oh well, such is the life for a coward who hides from those who have tried to help her in the past. I, for one have learned not to expect anything else from her... If the tree is decayed, the apples will be rotton... I thank GOD I'm not part of her "tree" anymore. I've forgiven her, which has set me free to be at peace. A peace that I hope she finds soon. All that hatred and malice can only eat you up.
I did get a lot of walking in. We went to lunch and had a very stress-free and peaceful day.
