My family and I find it amusing , at the end of the day, to see who's visited my blog here! Take for instance, yesterday we had visitors from South Africa and Denmark. ^_^

Hope you are all ok and doing well. As Cheryl would say "Merry meet and Blessed Be." She's celebrating Samhain today.

More recipes posted. hope you all enjoy them. Still working on the Seafood Chowder one... hopefully it will be there tomorrow.

I've taken a walk the past 4 days... not a long one, but I am doing what I can to keep the use of my leg. I think it will work out alright, but only time will tell.

We are all excited here... Kyle & Denese are coming next weekend for a visit! They are coming Friday night and staying until Sunday evening.

I'm going to make some of my famous veggie soup for them to take home... and my french onion soup as well. Cheryl is going to have her new guy come and we're making Kyle a birthday celebration. Cheryl will make a sit-down dinner. She wants to do it for him.

Getting my backside in gear and doing things for me today... a walk, some reading (Lost Books of the Bible) and some easy crocheting.
Tonight is my "get pampered" night. Kevin loves to do things for me, and I for him. We are going to the movies and dinner, everything cooperating.

Having a good time getting ready for my upcoming shows. My friend, Sheila is busy getting shirts done... I told her I'd put some on my table for her because she's going to be at another venue.

Spent yesterday with Cheryl at the mall... I got angel pins done. She's looking for a dress for the wedding on the 9th.

Going to work on ducks today... and maybe a hippo! ^_^

Just got off the phone from talking to my Dad. We had a wonderful conversation. He said "I don't know why she has to be like that. I never said anything like that... I have 5 children, I'll always have 5 children."

I'm glad we talked. He is such a wonderful Dad.

It amazes me how some people think that all I write here is about them... get over yourself, you are NOT that important to me.
To those who do know me, I will continue to be the person I have always been.

I started doing ducks last night... was sitting at Borders and someone asked about them... ordered 5... for Christmas-2boys and 3girls.

Been a bit busy here... But I never stop praying for those who need it. I will always pray for those who need to hurt others, those who are hurt by others, those who are sick and fighting to stay alive. I spent a few hours today talking to an online friend who is going through yet another bout with breast cancer... her 4th. She is so tired of fighting. I wish I could be there to help her, but since I can't , I pray.
